Two days and one night is standard tour package for Komodo tours where the travellers visit two major island namely Rinca island and Komodo island. On the first day trekking in Rinca island to see Komodo dragon and other wildlife, snorkeling in Kambing beach and spend the nights stay on the boat in Kalong bay. On the second day trekking in Komodo island and snorkeling in manta ray point. The itinerary as follow:
Day 01: Rinca island – Kambing beach – Kalong Bay
Leave from hotel to harbour to get on boat and cruise to Rinca island the home of varanus Komodo. On your arrival at the jetty in Loh Buaya, park rangers are waiting for you to greet and accompany. Short breafing will be given by rangers before start trekking to junggle. Walking along valley to see giant lizard Komodo, water buffalow, monkey, deer, and other wild animals. Walk up the hills to see such a beautiful panorama. After finish trekking, then short cruising to Kambing beach for swimming and snorkeling and enjoying beauty of coral reef and fish. Lunch is served by crew on the boat. In the afternoon cruise ahead to Kalong bay to anchor the boat and wait for thousand of bats fly out of mangrove forest at late noon. Stay on the boat in Kalong bay.
Day 02: Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Manta Point – Labuanbajo
Breakfast is served while cruising to harbour in Loh Liang main entrance to Komodo island. Rangers on Komodo island will accompany you to see Komodo dragons, deer, wild pig, and some species of bird like Wontong (orange footed scrubfoul) which build nest for female Komodo to lay eggs, pigeons, orion, and songs of white cacatua you could hear in the junggle.On the way back after trekking, make a short stop at local market to buy souvenirs offered by local people from Komodo village. The next short cruising to Pink beach for snorkeling, enjoying beautiful coral reef, colourful fish and relaxing on the beach. Here you can walk up to hill and take good photo to beach and arround. Lunch is served on the boat while cruising to Manta ray point for snorkelling to see big manta rays but it is depending on weather and sea current. Cruising back to Labuanbajo and drop in the hotel. Dinner and stay overnight. The end of service!
