This tour is combination of Komodo dragon tour and west Flores tour. In Komodo dragon tour the travellers visit two major islands they are Komodo island and Rinca island as the home of Komodo dragon and other wild lifes. Beside trekking in these two islands, you will do swimm and snorkel in Pink beach a paradise for snorkelling due to its under water charms and pink colour of the beach is made of red coral mix with white sand, visit Taka Makasar in nortern part of Komodo island for snorkling in Manta point to see big manta rays but it is depending on your lucky to see it and it is always difficult when there is wave and strong wind in this area. After visit Komodo island, you explore Waerebo village in west part of Flores. This village is belongs to Manggaraian tribe.
Day 01: Labuanbajo – Rinca – Komodo
Leave from hotel to harbor for catching boat and cruise to Rinca island the home of varanus Komodo, water buffalow, monkey, deer, and other wild animals. Short breafing given by rangers before start trekking to junggle. After trekkingg then short cruise to Kambing beach for swimming and snorkeling. Lunch is served on board. In the afternoon sail a head to Komodo island, and direct to Kalong bay where sometimes you could see a thousand of bats fly out of mangrove at late noon.
Day 02: Komodo – Pink Beach – Manta Point – Labuanbajo
Breakfast is served on the boat before trekking. Komodo island is the largest island in the park where Komodo dragons live, various kinds of bird which its songs make your trek more enjoyable. Stop at local market for shopping souvenirs of komodo statues. Back to the boat and continue to Pink beach for swimming and snorkeling. Cruise to manta point for snorekling with big manta rays (depending on weather at sea and your lucky to see manta ray) Lunch is served on boat and then cruise back to Labuanbajo. Upon arrival at the harbor, transfer to the hotel.
Day 03: Labuanbajo – Cuncarami waterfall – Dintor
After breakfast finish, pack your luggage, check out from hotel then get on the car to drive on the high way of Flores. The first stop will be at Melo hilltop to see beautiful panorama. Drive off the high way into a small road toward Rangat village start point to walk down to waterfall. The walk takes about 45 minutes and pass through coffee garden and rice field. On your arrival at waterfall, you can swimm in the pool to feel the fresh water from jungle and take some good photos. Trek on the same way back to Rangat village and continue drive to Lembor to see landscape of large rice field area and stop for having lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive ahead to Dintor. On your arrival, check in at homestay, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 04: Dintor– Waerebo Village
Morning breakfast and Trek up hill through the rain forest to reach Wae Lomba – a creek as the first stop after about a one hour trek from Denge. Here the atmosphere of being in the forest is real while sometimes the song of Asian Paradise Flycatcher could be heard. Proceed then to reach Post 2 at Pocoroko a vantage point for picturesque views toward Savu sea in the south. It is the last place for cellular phone connection services available. The next stop will be at Nampe Bakok – a place where you will have a complete view over the traditional village of Waerebo. Arrive at Waerebo by midday. Lunch and dinner will be provided at the village. Spend your whole afternoon in the village to comprehend the local’s way of life and its surrounding. Your overnight stay will be provided at a traditional house to share the experience of being in the locals home.
Day 05: Waerebo – Spiderweb Rice Field – Labuanbajo
Spend your morning in the village to experience the morning life and take some good photos and then trek the same way back but this time you walk downhill until reaching a point where the car is waiting to bring you back to Labuanbajo. Lunch will be provided en route. Visit Cara village to see Lingko (spider web rice field). Arrive in Labuabbajo by late afternoon or early of the evening
Day 06: City tour – Airport
After breakfast, pack your baggage and check out from hotel. Tour guide and driver take you in the city tour to visit Batu Cermin (mirror stone cave) at 5 kilo meter from central town. On your arrival at gate rangers will accompany you to explore the cave to see stalagtit and stalagmit, fossils of turtle and fish as proof that the cave was under the sea in millions of year ago. Drive to Komodo airport. The end of service!
