In this tour the travellers will explore Komodo National park for three days two and nights with local boat and explore the beauty of Flores island during four days and three nights with car. In the first day snorkeling in Kanawa beach which is known with beauty of coral reefs, colorful fish, sea stars, and white sandy beach. Kalong island to see flying fox. In the second day trekking in Rinca island and Komodo island the home of Komodo dragons and other wild lifes, visit Pink beach a paradise for snorkelling due to its under water charms and pink colour of the beach is made of red coral mix with white sand. In the third day visit Padar island in southern part to see spectacular view from top of hill, visit Taka Makasar in nortern part of Komodo island for snorkling in Manta point to see big manta rays but it is depending on your lucky to see it and it is always difficult when there is wave and strong wind in this area. After visiting Komodo national park, we take our travellers to explore the beauty of nature and tribes live in Flores. During overland tour you will visit Cuncarami waterfall, Lingko (spiderweb rice field) is system of land divison from Manggaraian tribe in west Flores, Bena traditional village in Bajawa, Green stone beach in Penggajawa, and the three coloured lakes of Kelimutu in east Flores. The detail itinerary as follow
Day 01: Bali – Labuanbajo – Kanawa Beach – Kalong island
Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo, you will be welcomed by tour guide. Meeting service about the tour in general then transfer to harbour to get on the boat and cruise to Kanawa beach for snorkeling and relaxing on the beach. You can also walk to the hill and enjoy the panorama. Luch is served on the boat. In the afternoon cruise to Kalong island to watch thousands of flying fox fly out of manggrove forest. Sail to Kambing island for stay overnight.
Day 02: Rinca Island – Pink Beach – Komodo island
In the morning visit Rinca island. On your arrival at jetty of Loh Buaya bay, park ranger will welcome and accompany you during your trekking to see Komodo dragon, water buffalow, deer, monkey, and other wild lifes. Here is possible to do long trek 5 kilo meters to see more wildlifes and beautifull view from the hill. Back to boat and cruise ahead to Pink beach for snorkeling. After finish snorkelling, cruise to pier of Loh Liang bay in Komodo island and do trekking again to see Komodo dragons, deer, and also the unique birds which its sounds make your trek more enjoyable. On the way back from trekking, make short opportunity for shopping at local souvenir market. Stay overnight on the boat.
Day 03: Padar Island – Komodo Island -Pink Beach
In the morning to Padar island to enjoy spectacular view from the top of hill. You may spend time to take a good photo with back ground of Padar island and around. Back to boat and continue Taka Makasar for snorkelling and see manta rays (it is depending on your lucky to see it). Lunch is served while cruising ahead to Bidadari island for swimming and snorkeling. In the afternoon cruise back to Labuanbajo. On your arrival check in at hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 04: Cuncarami waterfall – Spiderweb Rice Field – Ruteng ( check in hotel)
After breakfast finish, pack your luggage, check out from hotel then get on the car to drive on the high way of Flores. The first stop will be at Melo hilltop to see beautiful panorama. Drive off the high way into a small road toward Rangat village start point to walk down to waterfall. The walk takes about 45 minutes and pass through coffee garden and rice field. On your arrival at waterfall, you can swimm in the pool to feel the fresh water from jungle and take some good photos. Trek on the same way back to Rangat village and continue drive to Lembor to see landscape of large rice field area and stop for having lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive ahead to Cara village to see Lingko (spider web rice field). Head on to Ruteng and check in at hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 05: Ruteng – Aimere – Bajawa ( check in hotel).
Leaving from Ruteng to Bajawa. On the way we stop at Robo to see rice field terraces along hillside. Visit Ranamese fresh water lake. Here you are not allowed to swim in the lake due to full of mud in the water but you can hear songs of birds while you walk. Drive down to Borong to have lunch. From here continue drive to Aimere to see Arak distillation ( local alcoholic drink from Lontar palm). Drive another 2 hours to Bajawa and check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit Nage to take bath in the hot spring. Back to hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 06: Bajawa – Bena Village – Penggajawa Beach – Moni
After breakfast finish, leave the hotel to visit Bena traditional village from Ngadha tribe in Bajawa. In the village you will find many symbols which explain about local’s way of life. Some of these symbols known as Bhaga (symbol of woman’s house) and Ngadhu ( symbol of men’s house) where they put it in front of house and on top of the house. Here you will find the Ikat (weaving handcraft). From Bena continue drive to Penggajawa beach to see green stones spread along the beach. The green color is made of mineral cup rum (CU). We stop in Ende for having lunch. After lunch continue drive to Wologai traditional village of Lio tribe. Drive another thirty minutes to Moni and check in at hotel.
Day 07: Kelimutu lake – Ende Airport( transfer out)
Leave earlier at 04.30 am from your hotel drive for 35 minutes to parking area. From there you walk for another 30 minutes to top of Kelimutu to withness sunrise moment and enjoy beautiful landscape of the three coloured lakes. After taking photos back to hotel for having breakfast and prepare for driving to Ende. The end of service!
